all right, I just tried some of the maths stuff. I don't know whether I am just just bad at this or whether the book is wrong... so can anyone check, please, if you also get different answers for #4,5, 6 on p 251? thanks!

I got these answers:

4) w= 3rd squareroot of 800/9 = around 4.46
l= 3w= 13.4

5) b= 4.64 (side of the triangle and one side of the rectangle)
a= 4.71 (other side of the rectangle)

6) r= 3rd squareroot of 0.5/4 pi = around .732
A = around 4.05

all of these values are different in the book
